PRINCE GEORGE – A female College of New Caledonia (CNC) student was tragically killed June 6 after being struck by a vehicle between 18th and 22nd Avenue, near the Prince George campus.
“We are deeply saddened by the news tonight that one of our students has died as a result of this collision,” said CNC President Henry Reiser. “Our first thoughts go out to the student’s family, to whom we offer our sincerest condolences. We also grieve with those closest to this student, including roommates, friends, classmates and instructors who were with them during their time on campus.”
The College has put special measures in place to help those closest to the student through this difficult situation.
The College and RCMP are working together to notify the next of kin.
CNC will have support services available to both students and employees tomorrow on the Prince George campus.
