Another school year is fast approaching and the College of New Caledonia Prince George campus is looking forwarding to welcoming students back to class.

Currently, CNC Prince George is an Emergency Evacuation Registration Centre for those impacted by the BC wildfires.  As a #cncproud community member, staff has been supporting the initiative to welcome, house, feed and support the evacuees over the past two weeks. In the meantime, our staff continues to work toward our fall semester and the beginning of classes for a variety of programs.

“We are very excited to welcome students back after the summer break,” says CNC President Henry Reiser. “Our doors are always open to serve and support them, whether it be to visit campus amenities such as the library, the bookstore, Academic Advising or access the Registrar’s office.”

Students or members of the public who are affiliated with College business wishing to visit the campus are encouraged to enter through the main doors on 22nd avenue and identify themselves.  They will then be directed as to where they need to go.  Parking for students is available on the west side of the building, as the main parking lot is reserved for evacuees and volunteers.

Important dates for students include a final fee payment date of August 16, along with orientation and first day of classes for many programs at the Prince George campus on September 5.

College of New Caledonia locations including Quesnel, Lakes District (Vanderhoof and Fort St.James) and Mackenzie remain open for business as usual, while Burns Lake is open with limited summer hours.
